and I like it.

I give, I give, I never take

I am the soft of morning dew,
The warmth that cradles petals new.
A hand outstretched, an eager waiting
A soul laid bare in open air.

I am the smile that calms the storm,
The fire that keeps the lost heart warm.
I sing to trees, I speak to rain
To hurt another brings me pleasure.

I gather shadows just to bless,
I speak in tones that soothe distress.
I give, I give, I never take,
My joy is real, my care’s not fake.

I know how to make you kneel,
and I like it.
